Here's a pic of my 2004 F350 all geared up for a trip from Texas to Alaska last Summer. I'm probably harder on my truck than most of your customers and have had zero issues with your top. My three children (12,11 and 6) flip it open to access our camping and climbing gear on their own, and we offroad regularly. This thing gets drug through all different types of trees, covered in mud, sea salt, even blasted with sand in the 'dunes and has given me a year and a half of trouble free regular beatings. Thanks again and love it!

It would definitely be the best buy for my TJ so far without doubt. I have had it in all types of weather, covered in mud, covered in snow, in the rain for days, in the hot sun, and it’s just awesome, thanks for a great product and great service during purchase.

I have to say that the Softopper for my 2001 Chevy S10 Crew Cab has been the best investment yet. As my pictures show the truck is still a work in progress but this little topper makes all the difference for me when I need to work on the go. I hope you will use my pictures for your site. I have a Softopper for my 2011 Nissan Frontier and it has shown itself to be a well-designed product that works exactly as I hoped it would. The canvas and frame seem to be of top quality and the design is solid as I have no problems putting it up and down whenever I need to. There was a small problem with the first canvas that was sent to me but the replacement was sent out immediately at no charge and it has worked like a dream. I highly recommend this product. I just want to thank you for getting back to me so quickly and assisting me with the problem I had with my softopper. Even after a year and a half and not expecting much due to the fact it was past warranty, you sent me a replacement piece with only a couple of pictures to show you my problem. In this day and age of companies not standing behind their products and customer service seems to be a lost art, your company stepped right up and were quick with a return pone call and a replacement part all within a few hours of my first contact.

Thanks for a great product and a great job! I bought a gray topper this past fall. Just wanted to let you know, I just love it.  A friend and myself went on a recent camping trip at Lake Somerville State Park in the Great State of Texas.  The wind gust on the first evening got up to 6o MPH.  As I lay there in my homemade bunk, I thought for sure the topper would fly off the truck.  It did not,  nor did it leak.  Impressive indeed.  My brother helped me build two samll bunks, I added a porta-potty and an icechest to the mix and we had a pretty neat set up. I have attached a picture of our set up with the topper.  Good product and a very economical way to go. Bought a softopper for my 2010 Chevy Silverado, and its great!  I use it year-round, here in Atlantic Canada and it has never let me down.

I use it as a cap to cover band equipment, and we've travelled through 2 Canadian winters,  plenty of driving rainstorms, high winds (even through a tropical storm) and it has never leaked, or come undone.  I can put it on or off the truck in about 2 minutes......Awsome!! I was hoping to send some cool pics along with my feedback but just got too busy. In any event, I love the soft top for my 4 Runner. It enabled me to really enjoy our short Alaskian summers to the maximum. The top works as advertised, easy to install/use and I can honestly say the purchase is among the best money I've ever spent.

3yr report. I have the 6ft bed. Two 3500 mile trips, 70-80mps, with the dog in the back through all sorts of weather and almost no leakage. It has sat in rain for a week or so back east and there was very minor water in the bed, however i have a bed mat so any water in there was under the mat. This is not a water tight system but does very well for what it's designed for.

I recommend going to walmart or cabelas and getting the spray water proof silicone stuff. Not only does it really renew the color of the top but it makes a considerable difference in the waterproof-ness, imo. I used the sealant that softopper sent out along with the spray. It makes a big difference imo. I've slept in the back several times with no problems. As mentioned the screen windows are nice, pay the extra and get two of them for the front and back.

The customer service from the owner of softopper is top notch, as mentioned earlier with them fabbing up a doggie dog, which i think is very cool. The owner, who often answers the phone has hooked me up a couple of times as i do a lot of camping and break things from time to time. They are very customer oriented.

I live in an exceptionally harsh environment where it is well over 100 degrees for several mths at a time w/o a cloud in the sky. The top has held up very well and exceeded my expectations on all fronts, given how quickly the sun ruins and destroys anything left out in it .

I got this primarily b/c i can run it with the sides rolled up and the front and back window out creating portable shade for the dogs. They would be unable to hang out in the back of the truck for anything other than a short ride, even in the winter as the sun is too strong.

My opinion, considering the 700 price tag, after 3yrs, which i honestly didn't know if i'd get out of it or not...i'd buy it again in a minute. I've had jeeps in the past, which all have had best tops and although the canvas of the best top is fine, the windows suck, become foggy and look like crap in a pretty quick fashion from my extended experience and use and i didn't want it to look like I had a wrangler in the back of the truck.

I hope this helps you guys out. Install was a 2 beer project and it folds down against the front of the cab in 30 seconds. I didn't get the bag for when it's folded down. I just use 2 bungee's to secure it in place. This provides full access to the bed for whatever you may need. I BOUGHT A SOFT TOPPER FROM YOUR COMPANY A COUPLE YEARS AGO FOR MY NISSAN FRONTIER , AND  I ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT. I ACUALLY DIDNT THINK YOU COULD IMPROVE ON YOUR PRODUCT. BOY I WAS WRONG. I NOW OWN A NEW NISSAN FRONTIER CREW CAB WITH THE FIVE FOOT BED AND THE UTILITY TRACK SYSTEM, AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE IMPROVEMENTS YOU MADE ARE FANTASTIC. FROM THE BAR THAT HOLDS DOWN THE BACK WINDOW TO THE WAY YOU PROTECT THE VELCRO SEAMS ON THE SIDES ARE GREAT. I ALWAYS TELL EVERYONE WERE I GOT IT AND IS ONE OF THE BEST BUYS I HAVE MADE . I purchased a softopper for my husband's tundra and loved it so much for our dogs that I purchased a 2nd for my tundra as well, along with the cool side bike mounts.  People flag us down on the highway to roll our windows down to ask where we got our softoppers, as well as approach us in parking lots, follow us until we stop, come out of stores, all to ask us where we got our super cool covers.

Thanks for such an awesome product.  I thought I was going to have a hard time taking it off & on the truck, adjusting it, rolling the sides up, etc...but I can do it all on my own with no problem at all and I'm happy to tell anyone who asks what a great addition it has been to our vehicles :) Just wanted to tell you how happy I am with the softtopper I bought for my Tundra. I have already had the chance to pop it up mid trip to keep wood dry on a recent camping trip. I've also utilized it down to haul my dirt bike and then popped it up to sleep very comfortably in my truck bed that night in a remote location that my camping trailer would not have made it too. Rained hard that night and I stayed warm and dry laying down unlike my buddy who had to sleep sitting in his cab.

I get compliments on it everywhere I go and cannot wait until I have enough money saved to buy one for my International Scout. Will come in really handy for warm top down days followed by cold "wish I had a top right now" nights.

Very pleased with the quality and how easy it was to put together. In the early fall of 2007 I purchased one of your Softopper canopies. It has worked out so well for us. I was reminded on a bike ride when people were asking about the canopy. Attached are some photos of it in use. It is nice when a consumer product is very user friendly and accomplishes the task that it was advertised to do and the Softopper does just that. I purchased a Softopper for my 1985 4runner. I have had it on for a week or so and could not be happier. sausage1Great product,keep up the good work. Received my softopper yesterday afternoon and within an hour it was installed.  Top quality and looks good too.  Wow! Super pleased with the Softopper! Finally a good quality item made in the USA. Let me start by saying that the Softopper is the best money we have ever spent on our pickup truck and I don't say that lightly. My wife and I are a long-haul trucking team. When we take days off we leave the big truck at the company terminal and pack our things in the bed of our Dodge truck. Of course when the weather was bad this was a big problem.

Last summer we were stuck at our friends house because it kept raining every day. I was on the verge of buying a camper shell as a solution to keep our things dry and clean. I didn't really want one because I knew it would be a pain when we needed to move something really large in the bed of the truck. While searching I came across the Softopper website. I purchased one within 45 minutes and had it overnighted to us. It was exactly what I had been looking for!

My friend and I installed it as soon as it arrived. It took us about two hours only because it was a steamy hot day and we were taking frequent breaks. It went together like a dream with no problems. We could have had it up much faster but it was really hot and humid that day.

Since then the bed of our truck has been dry as a bone and 99.5% dust free to boot. Even using the hand sprayer at the car wash doesn't get the inside of the bed wet. We've been in snow, driving rains, and high winds; no problems at all.

And because it folds down behind the cab if you want it beats the heck out of a hard shell. It's completely out of the way if you have a large object like furniture to haul.

I highly recommend this product to all truck owners. I think you will find, as I did, that it'll be the best money you will ever spend on your truck. The Softopper arrived in one piece. Got that bad-boy on without a hitch! It looks great on my 4Runner! Still more customizing to do to the 4Runner before spring, but this is a big step. I am very happy with your product! Thanks for your fast and friendly service! My friends are pretty jealous. Just to let you know that we are very very happy with the purchase of our Softopper truck cap. The product is everything as advertised. It is very easy to install and keeps everything covered and protected from the weather. We have travelled over 15000 kms so far with this top and it's been great. We will be leaving soon for southern climes and will be taking my motorcycle along. My father-n-law, Roger N of Charleston, WV, purchased a Softopper for his new Toyota truck last summer and has been very very pleased.  I also like the Softopper on his truck, but unfortunately, he is unable to enter or leave our local Lowes parking lot for at least 15 minutes as he ends up doing a 'Softopper' demonstration to all the guys who inquire about it.   On the last trip to Lowes he had at least 7 guys standing around just for the "Entry Show"...
I'd suggest you make him your West Virginia sales manager, but he already has a full time job....  So, I'd rather that you, perhaps send us some brochures about your company and product line that he can just hand out, so I can get my stuff from Lowes loaded faster!!!  (Plus, I'm worried that a Lowes manager might ask us to get a 'vendor vest' if these product shows continue in their parking lot).
If this is possible, go ahead and send them to my address and I'll use them as his stocking stuffer for Christmas!!! I have a Scout shop here in middle TN.  I have been building and restoring Scouts for over 20 years and I just helped my customer with a top from your Company.
 I  have to say this is the best Soft top I have ever installed on a Scout and I have done them all - Best Top, K-line and STC.   I would go as far to say it's the next generation soft top for the Scout.
 The new top is a very well thought out design and all of the materials are very rugged. This product is just what the Scout needed and offered at a reasonable price.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and it has been raining very hard for the past couple of days. The top has not dripped one drop of water on the inside of my K5.

Again, thank you for such a great product and keep up the good work! I enclosed a pic of my truck with the Softtopper on it. I have decided it is the only top for it and the original will not be going back on anytime soon. My wife and I recently purchased a softtopper for our Toyota Tacoma in preparation for a two-week vacation in the Rocky Mountains and southwest desert areas.  Having owned traditional fiberglass shells in the past, I was not sure I would be happy with your product, which I stumbled across while researching various truck shells.  However, a lack of used fiberglass shells compatible with my truck and brand new shells costing twice what the softtopper does convinced me to order one.

Having now returned from our vacation, I can say without hesitation that we are glad we purchased the softtopper.  It survived 4800 miles, 80 mph winds, temperatures down in the 20s, and off-roading in the mountains at elevations over 10,000 feet.  I've attached some photos.  To say we are impressed with how it held up would be an understatement.  Your customer service has also been impressive.

We look forward to using our softtopper for more camping trips in the future.  Thank you for making an excellent product. I purchased my topper a few months ago it has been just great. We have been all over the place and it sure draws attention to our new Dodge truck.The nice thing is it keeps everything dry and clean, so no more tarping things off. In my eyes your topper is the best thing on the market for sure. If we get a new truck you will be called the next day for a new topper.I have talked to alot of people in the last few weeks and sure push this product. It is now successfully installed on our Ridgeline.  We found the instructions easy to follow but could have used a few more pictures in the step by step process to follow.
 
All in all, it looks fantastic!  

 We are very pleased with our purchase, as you never know you what you are getting when you order something online, especially when ordering from Canada.  I'm sure we will have a tonne of other people interested when they see ours and we will be sure to tell them what a simple process it was to order it from Softopper.
 
Thanks again I installed the Softopper this week on my Tacoma and like what I see so far.  It even withstood 65 mph shear winds this morning during a nasty storm.  The directions were cool and the engineering/craftsmanship appears to be sound.  Thanks again, hopefully, it will last for long road trip next month and many years after. I received my softopper yesturday in the mail and just wanted to comment on the quality of service thus far.  I was incredibly impressed with the shipping which occurred within an hour of me ordering the canopy and it arrived in BC, Canada, 11 days later.
 
Installation took me about an hour by myself and I found the directions fairly easy to follow.   I am quite impressed with how easy it is to raise and lower.
 
Now we shall see how it stands up to wind and rain as we live on North Vancouver Island where if it is not raining, wait 5 minutes!! I received the topper for my truck.  Thanks for shipping it to Moab for me.  I installed it myself, and it took just a little over an hour for me.   I'm very pleased with it.  One day after I installed it, the truck was used for an exploration trip and I was amazed at how little dust was in the back of the truck.  People with me said they got more in the back of theirs which had hard toppers.   Maybe you'll get some converts.
It looks real nice and so far has stood up to wind gusts up to 50 mph.   I can hardly wait to see what difference it makes on my gas milage on the way back to Canada in a couple of weeks.  For now, I'm just glad to have the stuff in the back out of the elements.

Cheers! It's not often I buy a product that is as advertised.  Just finished putting the Softopper on my 1993 S-10 and the instructions were concise and easy to follow. Fit and finish were as advertised. Feel free to use my comments in ads and/or your website. Just got back from a 6500 mile round trip and most of it was in wet and miserable conditions.  The top kept everything in the back dry.  Very impressed and it gets a lot of looks!  I received the correct side rails for my Sofftopper a week and a half ago and everything fit fine.  Last weekend I drove my Tacoma up to our retirement property in North Texas for a test drive.  I never get better than 20.5 mpg, and I got 21.4 mpg this trip, so It does improve mileage with out adding much weight.  No, I was not pulling a trailer at the time.  I will be towing a 5x8 enclosed trailer all the way to Indiana the week of Thanksgiving and I’m sure the airflow and mileage will be better and I’ll have more dry storage area too. I have had a few inquiries about how I found your product and what trucks it would fit. Good quality products like yours will always sell for themselves. I have enclosed a few pictures of my unit for you. Thanks for getting it right for me. Thank you very much I got my Softopper last Wednesday and I could not possibly be happier with it!!!  It took me 40 minutes to install and looks really good.  I've been getting compliments on it regularly and it certainly has sparked interest in a few who don't want hard top fiberglass caps.  I can't wait to order the sport rack and bike mounts!  You guys rock!! Last month I purchased a soft topper from you. Installation was no problem, my 8 year old son and I fully assembled the topper in about 1 &1/2 hours on a weekend morning. I had the opportunity to use it on a camping vacation with my family last week and wanted to let you know how excellently your product performed. We left for vacation during a torrential rainstorm and traveled approximately 3 hours in heavy rains at 65 mph. Despite these terrible conditions, our gear arrived bone dry thanks to the soft topper. During our vacation in the mountains we used the topper, under various configurations, to ferry equipment and people and again it proved to be a terrific product. On several occasions people stopped us to inquire about your product and I took pleasure in giving them a brief demonstration of the topper and also told them about how well it had performed under adverse weather conditions. I will be going on a fishing trip in two weeks and I now have the piece of mind knowing that no matter what the weather has in store for us anything in my truck bed will be protected by the soft topper. In preparation for a cross-country military reassignment to Alaska in November, 2006, I purchased a Softopper to fit my then-new Dodge Ram 2500.  I was intrigued with the Softoppers' flexibility, which seemed to fit my needs.  Now, three years later, as I prepare to move out of Alaska, I wanted to write and confirm that your product has absolutely proven itself.
 
My Softopper spent much more time on my truck than anticipated, enduring temperatures down to -50F across the ALCAN highway, comfortably shedding three Alaskan winters' worth of snow and harsh winds, and performing double duty as a modified camper shell in Denali and other places across Alaska.  It remains in excellent condition and I'm keeping it for my move back to the east coast.
 
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the purchase.  My Softopper has proven an extraordinary value, far exceeding my expectations under challenging Arctic conditions.  For someone with appropriate needs, I firmly and confidently believe a Softopper is their best choice and a superior product in the market.
 
Most Sincerely, I've had my Softopper on my 4 door Tundra for 2 years now. It is one of the best investments I've made for my truck... ever! It has withstood very high side winds, ice storms (while driving), 2 foot snow loads and LOTS of miles. Thanks for a great product. I get questions all the time and I just point to the 'Softopper.com' on the side of the top and tell them how much I like it. Ours covers my son's electric wheel chair and lifting crane and everything works fine.

Thanks for my SofTopper. I bought it last year and it works perfectly for my needs. Installation was easy. I will never own a fiberglass topper again. So many things won't fit in even a full size truck topper. On several occasions I've wanted to put bikes, a washing machine and a big screen T.V. in my tacoma and it would not fit. I'm also very impressed with the durability and strength. This topper can handle a snow load! Why would anyone consider buying a Tonneau cover?

Thanks for a great product. The SofTopper looks great and functions even better. It literally can be installed or removed in minutes and the carry pouch makes moving the unit easy. I was skeptical of the overall quality of a "soft top" but I'm happy I decided to buy your product. I can't count how many people have commented on the SofTopper . This thing is great for camping and easily folds out of the way or pulls off when it's time for work.

Just wanted to let you know that the top arrived in the nick of time, arrived on the 29th. Great cap. Worked well ice fishing up in Canada and quite a few people were impressed with it. Being able to open the sides up and get to gear at the back of the bed without crawling in is great. Also held up well in the wind and freezing conditions. Glad I bought it!

We got back to Texas from NH yesterday and the softtopper was perfect. We ended up needing some additional storage space outside of our motorcycle trailer and the back of the truck was perfectly dry and dust free thanks to the top. I even spent a night sleeping in there at a rest stop during a rain storm and everything worked great.

That was about 5500 miles of driving in about 80 hours plus some sleeping and gas, over a 2 week period.

Just a note to let you know how great the SofTopper and easy rack are. The installation was a snap for one person, and I've received many compliments on the looks. I've left the SofTopper on with the sides rolled up. I've rolled them in rather than out, which seems a bit better, as they won't hold water if it rains. The Ford Ranger doesn't allow me to have the easy rack at the extreme ends of the bed, therefore the cap is a bit tricky to open and close, but over all it works fine, is even better than I expected.

I've had my SofTopper for a week and already it has proven itself to be a joy. Items in my truck bed now stay dry while driving in hard rain. I can quickly put it up or take it down as the situation requires. And, the SofTopper has received many compliments as an attractive, sleek and sturdy addition. I've enjoyed my Nissan Frontier for almost 5 years, but now if feels like a new, more versatile vehicle. I can't wait to hit the north Georgia mountains for a camping weekend! Great product! Just a quick note to let you know how impressed I am with my new SofTopper . It took me less than 1 hour to install (and if I did it again, I think I could do it in 40 minutes). The quality is superb!

No sooner did I finish my installation when I had to pick up my daughter in town (I live on a ranch). I had to battle 60 MPH winds and total white-out conditions both in to town and back. The SofTopper didn't move and my pick up box was snow free.

I think if it can handle a Steamboat winter it can handle anything.
