In 2000, Softopper® was born out of a simple but powerful idea: create a truck bed cover that’s tough enough for Colorado’s harsh elements, yet versatile enough to keep up with the active lifestyle of its residents. Hard shells were heavy and cumbersome. Tonneau covers were limiting. So we set out to build something different—something better.
From snow-drenched mountain passes to remote desert trails, the Softopper® was designed to handle it all. Our founders knew that if a product could perform year after year in Colorado, it could be trusted anywhere.
Today, Softopper® remains headquartered in Colorado, just miles from the very trails and roads that inspired our first designs.
