DESCRIPTION
The Softopper® Ford Bronco SUV soft truck top fits the 1978-1996 full-size, classic, and OBS Bronco (Gen 2 and 3). As the original retractable, self-framed convertible-style top, it gives you one setup with three modes. Run it fully enclosed for all-season protection, roll the sides and rear window into Safari Mode, or retract it rearward toward the cab for full open-air driving. The waterproof 2-ply PVC-coated sailcloth is UV-stabilized and resists rot and mildew, and the corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum frame keeps your top light and stable. Installation requires drilling into the existing factory hard-top holes. The included model-specific hardware secures the top without making any permanent alterations to the vehicle. One person can remove it in seconds, and the included boot cover protects the folded top when you drive with it retracted. The canopy is built with durable, sewn-in window panels, while the frame components are user-replaceable, helping extend the life of your top instead of replacing the entire system. Each top comes with large, clear vinyl windows for full visibility, available in light tint for maximum clarity or dark tint for added shade and privacy. Both options are made from durable, UV-stabilized material that resists fading and keeps your interior comfortable in any season.

Any roll cage that fits under the hardtop of a Blazer/Bronco/4Runner/Ramcharger will fit under the Softopper with no issues. However, the Softopper may not retract with the rear roll cage installed without needing to go through an extra step. You just take the folding frame off the pivot pins and lower it into the bed, then fold it backward, and then pop the folding frame back onto the pivot pins. We warrant all of our Softoppers to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year, with the exception of vinyl windows and zippers, provided there has been normal use and proper maintenance.
Vinyl Windows are warranted for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase.
Zippers are guaranteed to be in perfect working condition when leaving the factory. Due to atmospheric conditions, dirt, sand, road grime, dust, and abrasive cleaners, etc., zippers are warranted for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
Toyota 4 Runner, Blazer, Jimmy, Scout, Bronco, and RamCharger side curtain windows are warranted for 45 days from the date of purchase. Retracting or closing the top when the temperature is below 40 degrees may void the warranty on the side windows, as clear vinyl plastic can crack very easily at these temperatures. Use caution when retracting the top or cleaning off the windows in freezing temperatures.
