"I've had my softopper for years and I finally decided to install the 3rd brake light. About a week later we got a heavy downpour and water leaked all into the housing, and not just condensation, but water pooling on the lower half. It's quite disappointing that it's not weather proof!"

Is the third brake light kit universal? Or is it only for specific trucks?

Very cool solution, I've had a similar version from Amazon on my topper in the past that had the polarity reversed on the wiring, is it fixed on this? Red vs black?
Our 3rd Brake Light has a red and black wire and we recommend having it professionally installed.
