No. Softopper® cannot be installed with a tonneau cover because both systems mount to the truck bed rails and would interfere with each other. Many customers choose Softopper® for the added benefit of full bed height and flexibility.
Yes. You can open and close your tailgate normally with a Softopper® installed. The rear panel bar sits above the tailgate and does not interfere with its operation. If you need full bed access, the rear window can be rolled up and secured with the built-in straps and buckles.
