Decent, but better with self improvement

"Doesn't fit very good. Difficult to get it right so the buttons will snap in place at tailgate end. I don't expect the plastic that holds the tube (which is also flimsy) above the tailgate to last long. The rest of the tubing and canvas is decent and I like that it's got velcro areas to help with securing it. All in all it's not to bad, but the other brand I bought for my daughters Silverado is a little better , but cost a bit more."

Tundra

"So first of all, I don't have a Nissan Titan. That's not me. Now if you look up my records you'll find a Toyota Tundra. The sales rep was spot on. I ask him if the topper would stay on and not flop around if I were averaging 100mph for over 500 miles. . . . . . . . . . let's just say it's performance was outstanding. It goes on easy and folds up easy. It rained on us and everything under the topper stayed dry. Such a nice addition to the truck that should have been installed years ago."

Road trip

"I wrote another review based on the same trip that I took using this Softopper cap. That review was for the tent attachment on the back that didn’t work out so well. But those same conditions that caused the failure of the tent attachment were no match for the soft topper cap. I drove over 6000 miles through various weather conditions and intense heat and the cap worked beautifully the entire time. It stayed dry in the rain and even kept the dust of the desert out of my things in the back. This is a quality product. I have recommended to friends."

Does NOT fit the 2003 Tundra Step-Side Access cab, way too wide.

"The size of my truck bed at the top is too narrow to fit the width of this soft-top and I cannot use it. Good quality and I bet it would be nice to use, but sadly i cannot fit it."

Pretty good product

"4 stars because you know it’s a real review. I’m happy with the product. I’ve been wanting a cover for my bed but not something that’s permanent like a hard topper that just turns the truck into an SUV. Easy to instal and can collapse or be removed in minutes. A little on the pricy side but material seems to be good quality. Only negative I have is the sides are solid material which adds a large blind spot. Other than that it’s a great product and I’m happy with the purchase."

Game Changer!

"I have been wanting to use my truck bed as a quick and easy camping option. My first thought was to find a hard shell topper but didn't want to spend that kind of money. Researching the idea lead me to Softopper and I pulled the trigger. Shipping was faster than expected and install was a breeze by myself. I can still use my old pickup as intended and also have a fast and convenient 8ft shelter instantly. I did have to seam seal the clip loops to prevent leaks, but the sealer was provided. I'm not only happy with the performance, but also the aesthetics. This thing looks sharp! Made in the USA by a company that clearly cares about what they do and the customers they supply."

Q&A

My F150 truck bed is 77 3/4 inches long. That is 1/4 inch less than 6.5 feet. Will it still work with the 6.5 foot bed>

How well will this stand up to the Arizona heat? Don't want to buy something and it only last 1-2 years as the heat was to much for it.
The Softopper hold up great in extreme heat! The canvas sailcloth is UV treated. We have many customers that live in AZ and have had their tops for years.
My 2008 Ram 3500 is a 8.6 bed. Don't see this option when I plug in my truck.
This should be the correct model for your truck. When measuring the bed, we go from the inside of the back of the cab to the inside of the tailgate. This can shave off a few inches.
Can this be put on a 1978 c10 long bed ? I think it would look nice in my truck just don’t know if it fits

We warrant all of our Softoppers to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year, with the exception of vinyl windows and zippers, provided there has been normal use and proper maintenance.

Vinyl Windows are warranted for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase.

Zippers are guaranteed to be in perfect working condition when leaving the factory. Due to atmospheric conditions, dirt, sand, road grime, dust, and abrasive cleaners, etc., zippers are warranted for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.

Toyota 4 Runner, Blazer, Jimmy, Scout, Bronco, and RamCharger side curtain windows are warranted for 45 days from the date of purchase. Retracting or closing the top when the temperature is below 40 degrees may void the warranty on the side windows, as clear vinyl plastic can crack very easily at these temperatures. Use caution when retracting the top or cleaning off the windows in freezing temperatures.

The canopy is waterproof, UV, rot and mildew resistant, and is incredibly easy to clean. This 4-season sailcloth shrugs off beating sun, pouring rain, heavy snow and hurricane-force winds.
