Buyer beware

"Installation proved costly - the brackets did not properly align and the hardware provided did not fit. I needed to have my mechanic install and purchase the proper hardware and make modifications for this to work. Now that it’s on, it works well. But buyer beware that you may need to spend more money once purchased"

Awesome all year!

"Love my softtopper! I haven't had it in the summer yet but i can only assume riding around with the top down in the sunshine isn't going to be the downfall of this top. That being said, I live in Washington state and this thing is AWESOME in the rain, and snow. I took it up snowboarding at Baker, and was very pleased with how warm my cab stayed. Also had no water intrusion even with snow melting on top while i was on the mountain. Worth every penny cant wait to drop the top and enjoy the breeze."

I DONT HAVE A ROLL BAR IN MY 1981 FORD BRONCO WILL THIS BE A PROBLEM

Can the side windows be removed when driving? Thanks
Hey Kevin! You cannot remove the side panel on the Softopper, however, you can roll them up and secure them using the sewn in straps and buckles, we call it Safari Mode. You can drive with your Softopper in Safari Mode, just ensure that your safety straps are secured and you are good to go!
Hey Folks, Just a couple questions. First will this fit over a roll cage if the stock hard top does? Also wondering about the rear window with tire mount option. Is that for the stock swing out tire mount?
Any roll cage that fits under the hardtop of a Blazer/Bronco/4Runner/Ramcharger will fit under the Softopper with no issues. However, the Softopper may not retract with the rear roll cage installed without needing to go through an extra step. You just take the folding frame off the pivot pins and lower it into the bed, then fold it backward, and then pop the folding frame back onto the pivot pins.Yes, the rear tire mount option is for the stock version. The Softopper® SUV top arrives with everything you need including a removable rear window, all mounting hardware, and bedrails with weather stripping for a quick and complete installation. The Softopper® is available in Black, Grey, or Tan, and come standard with clear or dark tinted rear and side windows. The Softopper® will definitely compliment your summertime experience with the ability to roll up the side and rear panels, and completely retract or remove in a few minutes. Included is a protective boot cover that must be used when driving with the unit retracted rearward. Initial installation takes about an hour. The side rails bolt onto the vehicle bedrails.

The Softopper installs in minutes with custom clamps without any permanent modifications required. No drilling needed. Non-adhesive weather stripping provides waterproofing for your entire truck bed. It takes one person mere seconds to remove your Softopper entirely and folds flat for quick, easy storage in any space.

Quality/Durability
Made in North America from the highest quality materials. A rust-free, anodized aluminum frame supports a 2-Ply, laminated PVC-coated canopy. The canopy is waterproof, UV, rot and mildew resistant, and is incredibly easy to clean. This 4-season sailcloth shrugs off beating sun, pouring rain, heavy snow and hurricane-force winds. Uses heavy duty #10 YKK zippers. The non-adhesive weather stripping protects your entire truck bed. And all parts are user replaceable.
