OK with some gripes

"Acceptable with three gripes: 1) The velcro to the tailgate is a poor design choice and makes using the bed inconvenient. 2) The cross member near the cab does not seal and lets water in. 3) The snaps on the cross member near the cab are very hard to snap together. Fix these things and you have a great product. Without this, it's OK but leaves a lot on the table."

Great solution for my Maverick

"I installed this topper on my 2024 Maverick a couple weeks ago and have been very impressed. I do wish the bracket and pins were a little more sturdy, but time will tell if I'm just being overly cautious. The canvas and windows are high quality. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall I recommend this."

Better than expected.

"Great quality. Instructions need to be improved especially when you about to put the frame and cover. Shipping was fast. My Maverick looks great. I'll see how the back window last before getting yellow. Overall, I'm really happy with my softopper. Note, do not let any values/belongings inside of the truck bed."

Softtopper on 2025 maverick

"I had a soft topper on my 2019 Tacoma, and had zero issues. Made same decision fo new Maverick. We had 300” of snow this season, and held up perfectly. Fit and finish 10/10!"

I’m happy with everything except

"I’m happy with everything except the rear window attachment to the tailgate of my vehicle. I wish it was more resolved than 3 Velcro strips. The adhesive on the Velcro is weak and would not stay put. I even tried an automotive trim adhesive. Will likely need to have snaps added if I want to keep decent tension on the rear window flap."

Q&A

Hi, I had a few questions on the sofTopper for the Maverick. Just got my truck, and I was really interested in this for taking my dogs places without them jumping out of the bed. I would certainly want to get the mesh panel, but even looking through the instructions, its hard to tell if the mesh panel would apply to the front of the softopper, or the back only. If it does go on the front, is it recommended to get the back as a mesh as well to avoid any air drag on the back window? thanks!
Hello Ed! The mesh panel is available for the front and back of the Softopper. They are different so when you are ordering make sure you select the font and back separately. If you choose to get the front, you will want to also have the back installed to prevent any drag on the back window. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!
