"Really nice product! Took me a little Longer than an hour to install it? But I was doing it solo and I had to lower it from the center setting and that took a few minutes more. But now, putting up or down is just a couple of minutes. Now that I know how it's installed, I've taken it off and put back on a few times, each evolution only takes 5 minutes."

Good Quality, design limits what accessories you can put in the bed.

However I'm bummed I can't utilize the bed fully because of how the pivot arms hang so low into the bed you can't install a decked system, or swing out side boxes. "Could not be happier with the soft topper on my gladiator. Having a topper that keeps out the florida rain is a life saver. I keep my wife’s electric wheelchair that I don’t want to get wet and won’t fit under a typical bed cover. This is perfect because I can also retract it to put in large items as well. This is the second soft topper I have purchased."

Q&A

My 2021 Gladiator has the Rebel Offroad Full Height rack system installed in the five ft bed. Looks like the clamps won't have room. Will the sofTopper work with this? Can i build this and "slide it in"?
Thank you for your interest in our Softoppers! Unfortunately, that type of rack is not compatible with our Softoppers. It will interfere with the Softopper bed rails which need to run the length of your truck’s bed. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

My 2020 Gladiator Sport Max Tow has the BuiltRight rack system installed in the five ft bed. Looks like the clamps won't have room. Will the sofTopper work with this?

We plan on purchasing one so when we go on a road trip and put our fur babies in the bed of the truck. My question is, does the part that faces the rear window of the truck unzip so we can remove our back window of the truck and make the truck and the bed of the truck feel connected?
Great question! Yes, you are able to remove or roll up the rear window. We also sell a DIY Dog Window Cutout Kit that will allow you to create a permanent pathway from the cap to the bed of the truck.
Is it lockable?
Unfortunately, there is no way to lock the Softopper. We have quite a few customers ordering additional panels for the rear and/or front in solid material or dark tinted windows. It is our experience that if a thief can’t see what’s in your truck, they are much less likely to make an effort to break into it. There is also the option of investing in a lockable toolbox that sits inside of the truck bed, not on the bedrails, we recommend Tuffy brand: https://www.tuffyproducts.com/ .

The Softopper installs in minutes with custom clamps without any permanent modifications required. No drilling needed. Non-adhesive weather stripping provides waterproofing for your entire truck bed. It takes one person mere seconds to remove your Softopper entirely and folds flat for quick, easy storage in any space.  

Modular and Versatile
Customize your Softopper for how you work and play. In addition to the fully open and fully closed configurations, the canopy’s side panels and rear window roll up for easy access. No more crawling through the bed to get to gear up front. It’s also dog friendly. Open up the sides and give your pal plenty of air with protection from the sun and rain. Replaceable clear vinyl windows provide complete visibility through your truck bed.

Quality/Durability
Made in North America from the highest quality materials. A rust-free, anodized aluminum frame supports a 2-Ply, laminated PVC-coated canopy. The canopy is waterproof, UV, rot and mildew resistant, and is incredibly easy to clean. This 4-season sailcloth shrugs off beating sun, pouring rain, heavy snow and hurricane-force winds. Uses heavy duty #10 YKK zippers. The non-adhesive weather stripping protects your entire truck bed. And all parts are user replaceable.
