The Softopper for the Ram 1500 is the original retractable soft truck top, built specifically for the 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500, the 2011-2027 Ram 1500, and the 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic with a 5.5 ft bed. It gives you cab-high, weather-resistant coverage that a flat tonneau cover can't, then folds forward toward the cab in seconds or lifts off entirely for a full open bed. A corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum frame with zinc-coated steel fasteners supports a 2-ply PVC-coated sailcloth canopy, a waterproof vinyl that is UV-, rot-, and mildew-resistant for all-weather protection. Most Ram 1500 models clamp to the bed rails with no-drill C-clamps in about 40 minutes, with no permanent modification, and the whole top folds flat for storage. It drives quiet with no wind noise at highway speeds and no significant change in gas mileage. Choose Standard Vinyl in black, tan, or grey, or step up to Premium Black Twill; every Softopper is made in North America, and the window panels and frame components are user-replaceable. Softopper offers fitted Ram models across the lineup in short, standard, and long beds, so use the vehicle selector for your exact year and bed length.
