DESCRIPTION
The Softopper soft truck cap fits 2015-2027 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks with a 5 ft bed. It gives you cab-high covered storage that a flat tonneau cover can't. Unlike a heavy fiberglass or metal camper shell, it collapses forward toward the cab for full bed access in seconds, and you can see how the two compare in our soft truck top vs. hard shell guide. Lift it off entirely when you need room for larger loads. Fully closed, it protects your gear and keeps it out of sight, or roll up the sides and rear window for Safari Mode airflow. The corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum frame pairs with 2-ply PVC-coated sailcloth, a waterproof vinyl fabric that is all-season and UV-, rot-, and mildew-resistant. Most models install in about 40 minutes with no-drill C-clamps and no permanent modification, and one person can remove it in seconds. Each kit ships with the frame, canopy, mounting clamps, and a boot cover for driving retracted, and it pairs with the Exo Truck Bed Rack when you want to carry gear up top. As the original retractable soft truck top, built in North America, your Softopper is engineered for your exact Colorado or Canyon bed.

- All-weather waterproof vinyl fabric – The 2-ply PVC-coated sailcloth is a waterproof vinyl that resists UV, rot, and mildew and wipes clean in any season. Sewn seams can let water in at trouble spots, and seam sealer is available.
- Clear vinyl windows, replaceable panels – Your soft truck cap ships with clear vinyl windows front and rear for full visibility (Premium Black Twill comes with a dark tinted rear window). Window panels and frame components are user-replaceable, and tinted, mesh, or solid panels are sold separately to swap in later.
- #10 YKK zippers – Heavy-duty #10 YKK zippers keep the rear window secure and operating smoothly through years of daily access.
- Safari Mode airflow – Roll up the side panels and rear window for open-air, dog-friendly airflow while keeping sun and rain protection overhead.
- Color and fabric options – Choose Standard Vinyl in black, tan, or grey, or Premium Black Twill for a triple-layer fabric with added insulation.

It takes one person mere seconds to remove your Softopper entirely and folds flat for quick, easy storage in any space.
